You can permanently delete photos from any of your own albums, or delete entire albums from your account.

If you delete a photo or album you had shared, it will also be removed from the list of shared items in your friends' accounts and they will no longer be able to see the deleted items.

Once you delete a photo or album, it is permanently removed from your account. There is no way to recover it from the Photo Center. The only way to restore it is to upload it again. (Deleting a photo from your account will not affect any photos stored on your computer.)

Important: Once you delete a photo, there is no way to recover it. If you still have a copy of the photo on your computer, you can upload it again, but there is no way to "undelete" a photo. (Deleting a photo from your account will not affect any photos stored on your computer.)

1. View the photo you want to delete. (To view a single photo, just click one of your albums in your photo library, and then click the photo.)
2. Click "Edit & Organize" in the toolbar on the right side of the page.
3. Click "Delete This Photo."
4. In the confirmation window, click Delete Photo.

1. From your photo library, click the album that contains the photos you want to delete.
2. Click "Edit & Organize" in the toolbar on the right side of the page.
3. Click "Delete Photos."
4. Check the box next to each photo you want to delete.

   Tip: If you want to delete all the photos in the album, you can click the "Select All" link at the top of the page to check all the boxes at once.

5. Click Delete These Photos.
6. Click Delete Photos in the confirmation window to confirm you want to delete these pictures - keep in mind that this cannot be undone.

You can remove any of the photo albums listed in your Photo Library.

For albums you have created: You can delete the album. If you delete an album you had shared, it will also be removed from the list of shared items in your friends' accounts and they will no longer be able to see the deleted album.

For albums someone else created: For albums that have been shared with you, you can remove the album from the list of "Friend's Albums." This album will still be in your friend's account, and anyone else who is sharing that album will still be able to see it.

1. From your photo library, click "Edit & Organize" in the blue toolbar on the right side of the page.
2. Click "Remove Album(s)."
3. Click each album you want to remove.
4. Click Remove Albums.
5. In the confirmation window, click Remove Albums.
