You can share the photos and albums you have added to your account so your friends and family can see your pictures.

You can choose to share individual photos or entire albums. Each item you share can be shared with a different group of people. You have two options for sharing photos and albums.

• You can send a direct URL-address link to your photo or album
• We can send an email invitation to your recipients on your behalf

The URL-address link allows you to copy and paste a direct link in emails from your own email provider or in an instant messenger chat.

When your friends click on the direct URL-address link it brings them to our website. There, they're asked to type in their email address and choose a password. This ensures the privacy of your photos and creates new accounts for your friends, with viewing privileges for just the photos you invited them to see. In addition to being able to see all of your shared photos, your friends can easily order their own prints or photo gifts at no cost to you.

The email we send on your behalf contains the following:

• The name of the photo or albums shared
• Step-by-step instructions on how to view your shared photos
• A personalized message (if you wish)

Your friends will receive an email from us sent on your behalf containing a link to your photo or album. Once they click the link they will be asked to type their email address and choose a password to ensure the privacy of your photos. Just like when you share with a URL-address link, your friends can order prints and photo gifts at no cost to you.

To get started, follow the steps above for selecting a photo or album. Once you have selected a photo or album to share, follow the steps below:

• Click the 'Share to...' tab on the share page.
• Click the icon for the social network or blog where you want to share your photos.
• You'll be asked to log in to your social network or blog account. Follow their prompts for sharing your photo or album.

You can share the photos and albums you have added to your account so your friends and family can see your pictures.

Starting from your photo library, follow these steps:

1. Click "Share" in the Do More menu on the right side of the page.
2. Choose either "Share Albums" or "Share a Photo" from the choices that pop up.
• Share Albums: Share an entire album at once. All photos in the album will be shared.
• Share a Photo: Choose a specific photo to share.

Once you have selected a photo or album to share follow these steps to share with a link:

• On the following page, choose the "Share with a Link" tab
• The box below contains the URL-address link for your photo or album.
• Copy the link by clicking on the button Copy Link to the right of the URL-address link
• Paste the URL-address link in an email or instant messenger chat to send a direct link to your photo or album.

Tip: You can also select multiple albums to share. Just click on the albums you would like to share on the "share albums page", then click Choose These Albums.

To share your photo or album through email, follow the steps for selecting a photo or album to share above.

When you share a photo or album by email we'll send an email to your recipients on your behalf. Once you have selected a photo or album to share, on the following page, scroll down to "Share Photo by Email" or "Share Album by Email."

Enter your recipients' email addresses in the email field and write a message. To choose the recipients, complete the following steps:

• Enter new email addresses
  In the "To" field, type the email addresses of friends you want to share your photo(s) with. Separate each address with a comma or line break.
• Select addresses from your address book
  If you prefer to enter addresses from your address book, click the "Address Book" link above the "To" field.
• Decide whether you'd like a copy
  Below the address field is a box you can check if you would like to receive a copy of the email.

Tip: Your friends will see only their own email addresses in the "To:" portion of the message, not those of the other recipients.

When your friends view the pictures you've shared, they will be able to add comments to the guest book, and they can order prints and other items using your photos. (Since they sign in to their own account to view your shared photos, they are responsible for any items they purchase.) They will not be able to add, remove, or edit any of your pictures. (If you want others to have full access to your photos, you may want to create a group room.)

Privacy of Shared Photos

You can share photo books you have saved, just as you would share photos and albums. Your friends can see the layout and pictures in the book, and choose to print and buy copies of the book.

1. From your account's homepage, click View Projects under the "Your Saved Photo Projects" section.
2. On the next page, click "Share a Project" in the blue menu bar at the right.
3. Select the photo Book you'd like to share.
4. Click Choose This Project.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to send out the sharing invitation email.

Each person you invite will only see his or her own email address in the "To:" portion of the email, not those of the other recipients.

De-Activate a Guest Book

Guest Book - Overview

The guest book is a fun way for you and your friends to share comments about your photos. Each album in your account has a guest book.

Whenever you create a new album in your account, a guest book for that album is automatically created.

When you share an album with friends, that guest book is automatically shared. When your friends sign in to view your album, they can click the "Guestbook" link while viewing your photos to read other people's comments or add their own.

To view a guest book:

1. Sign in to your account, and click the album you want to view.
2. If you're on one of your own albums, click the "View Guestbook" link, located beneath the blue menu at the right of the page.

While viewing the guest book for one of your albums, you can:

• see how many people have viewed your album
• add comments of your own
• remove comments
• de-activate the guest book, preventing friends from viewing it
• re-activate it (if it was previously de-activated)

Friends' albums in your account also have guest books. If their guest book is active, you can read others' comments and add your own by clicking on the "Add Your Comments" link.

De-Activate a Guest Book

If you'd like to prevent friends from reading or adding comments about your album, you can de-activate the guest book for that album by completing the following steps:

1. Sign in to your account, and click the album you want to view.
2. Then click the "Guestbook" link, located beneath the blue menu at the right of the page.
3. A pop-up window will appear.
4. Click "Close guest book to visitors."

You can de-activate the guest book before or after sharing the album. As the album owner, you'll still have access to the guest book, but friends with whom you share the album will not be able to access it.

De-activating a guest book does not delete the comments in it, but does prevent other people from viewing or adding existing comments. To remove individual comments, click the "Remove" link under each comment.

When you change a shared album, including adding photos, updating captions, rotating or deleting photos, your invited recipients will see the same changes the next time they view the album.

f you don't want to share the album anymore, there is no way to "unshare" it. You can move the photos into a new album and then delete the empty shared album.
